Neither do we record or retain that is used to conduct commercial transactions with you.   This policy to ensure you are fully informed when supplying your personal information to AOPG. It also allows you to understand how we use, process and share that data.

Personal information refers to any information which relates directly or indirectly to you. This includes any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact you. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal information encompasses sensitive personal information which relates to information relating to your health, political opinions, religious beliefs, etc. This being the case we DO NOT collect or store personal information that meets the definition of sensitive personal information. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that this Privacy Policy is applicable only if you are a natural person / an individual.

We DO NOT store, collect or retain any sensitive personal data examples of what we DO NOT Collect include: 

•             Personal information (e.g. home address, family or friends, IC or passport etc)

•             Financial information - We do not process credit cards, we  do not store any bankin, credit card or any other kind of financial data of any kind on any individual)

•             Bio data or health information – We do not collect or store ANY type of bio data info such as hair color, gender or race neither do we collect or store any type of health related data.

 We only process the following informations:

•             email – work or personal used for work

•             Phone – publicly available or personally provided office numbers, direct office numbers or mobile numbers

•             The company you work for

•             Your job title

•             We may track which pages you visit on our websites and what resources you view or download

•             Information you voluntarily give us in web forms or during phone calls which is limited to your professional technology and business interests/plans

•             We may record other details like cookies and IP Address

A note on tracking via third parties:

AOPG also utilise Pixels to track visits from advertising campaigns. Pixel tags and cookies may be used in our website to measure the effectiveness of our advertising efforts. Please note that we are using a third-party service to send you emails that you have agreed to receive. These emails contain special tracking that helps us provide more focused marketing communications to you.

Please be informed that this Privacy Policy applies solely to AOPG Websites and databases and does not apply to any third-party websites you may access from our websites. To determine how they deal with your personal information, please ensure that you read their respective privacy policies.

4. HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may collect personal information directly from your authorised representatives, or from publicly available sources:

 Examples of ways we collect data include:

o             When you provide us permission via phone confirmation for us to communicate with you via phone or email.

o             When you subscribe receive communications from us via any form on any of our websites.

o             When you register for any online event or page we have published.

o             When you complete one of our online surveys or competitions.

o             When you register to attend a webinar which we may be running on a third-party platform like gotowebinar, teams or zoom.

Your personal information is processed by AOPG based on the premise of legitimate interest of itself and its customers to engage in direct sales and marketing.

We process data of IT and business professionals and provide them with IT news and enterprise technology information directly related to their professional interests.

By accepting the terms of this privacy policy, you agree that AOPG may use your personal information as permitted by applicable laws. In accordance we collect and use your personal information for one or more of the following purposes:

o             To send you communications by email. Communications will be around news updates, invited to events, informative emails, promoting downloads of ebooks, promoting other web pages with related information to view.

o             To produce data, reports and statistics which shall be anonymised or aggregated in a manner that does not identify you as an individual.

o             To analyse statistical data from website and advertisement analytics.

o             To conduct marketing activities.

7. DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

 We DO NOT retain and neither do we share any sensitive personal information at any time. 

By providing us your non sensitive personal information you are giving AOPG permission to share that information with our partners who use that information to contact you with product information, event invites or to make sales enquiries. 

The information we pass will be limited to contact details (email and/or phone), your job title and company you work for along with details of your current technology interests. We will establish your technology interests by any combination of reviewing details of forms you have filled in on our websites or social media promotion, content we have tracked that you viewed across our websites or emails or details collected during the course of a phone conversation.

We will only pass your data to third parties where you have given us digital or verbal permission to do so.  

Our partners use this information to make informed sales and marketing outreach to you on a purely professional basis. 8. DELETING Or AMMENDING YOUR DATA

We can assist you to access, correct and/or delete your personal information held by us.

If you wish to have access to your personal information in our possession, or if you are of the opinion that such personal information held by us is inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, not relevant or not up-to-date, you may make a request to us by email us at [email protected] . You should quote your name and email address registered with us; we will only be able to identify you by email address.

We will ratify your identity by sending an email to the registered email address and requesting a reply. We will use reasonable efforts to comply with your request to access or correct your personal information within 21 days of receiving your request.

Please note that we may have to withhold access to your personal information in if we are unable to confirm your identity. In such instances we will notify you of the reasons for not being able to accede to your request.

 9. RETENTION

We will retain the limited details we store regarding your personal information indefinitely. As we are only able to identify you by email address in the event your email address is no longer valid, your details will be retained for archive purposes but they will be removed from our live database and we will no longer actively use your data.

We do not store of process information about children under the age of 18. In the event that we become aware that a Contact or End User is under the age of 18, we will discard such information.
